Field Sales Manager GAS/ DACH m/w/d

Our client is an international premium bicycle parts manufacturer with a long history and with strong focus on High-End & sportive products. To further expand the brands strong presence in the German speaking markets, we are looking for a field sales manager with strong focus on aftermarket. The ideal candidate is located within GAS/DACH region (preferably Germany South or Northern Austria) and has high willingness to travel frequently within the region, as well as to both German and International HQ. Otheriwse, the job can be done remotely.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Generate direct sales to top tier e-tail & re-tail dealers

  • Win new dealers and manage existing accounts

  • Verify and qualify dealers for a premium dealer network

  • Regular Visits to Dealers within target area

  • Positioning and increase of the brand awareness in the markets

  • Presentation of products to customers on shows & events

  • Development of the corporate brand identity within the dealer network

  • Act independently and create individual responsibility in all commercial and technical aspects with support from local branch office (German based)

  • Organize frequent technical trainings with support from local service team

  • Provide monthly activity overviews and plans as well as target achievements

  • Monitoring the market and frequent reports on key topics

Your Profile

  • You have experience in a field sales role with a strong focus on generating new business

  • You already have experience in the bicycle industry and ideally have already built up a dealer network (Germany or Austria)

  • You are proactive and have strong communication skills

  • You are enthusiastic about cycling and everything to do with non-motorized bicycles (e.g. road & gravel bikes) and its technology

  • Excellent self-organisational and time management skills.

  • Good commercial education/understanding and technical know-how

  • German native speaker and good command of written and spoken English language

  • Travel time and participations on trade shows and other events will be a high-level part of this role

  • Valid driver’s license is a must

  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools is mandatory
