Sales Director ebike

Our customer is a bicycle brand from the USA that is expanding to Europe and at the moment in the process of registering a German branch and opening an office in Munich / München.

We will therefore start the recruitment process and hire various people in different roles.

A flexible hybrid working model is possible. Residence in Germany is necessary.


Position Overview: The Sales Director ebike establishes and manages relationships with bicycle dealers to drives sales. In the beginning we will focus on key bicycle markets such as Germany and the Netherlands and later expand to other European Countries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement B2B sales strategies to build & expand our dealer network in Germany, the Netherlands, and other key markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bicycle dealers.

  • Build and lead a strong sales team.

  • Work closely with the Product Manager and Head of Branding and Marketing to align sales strategies with product offerings and marketing campaigns.

  • Provide training and support to dealers, ensuring they are well-equipped to sell our products.

  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.

  • Represent our brand at industry events, trade shows, and dealer meetings.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Extensive experience in B2B sales in the bicycle industry.

  • Strong network of contacts within the bicycle dealer community in Germany, dealer contacts in other countries such as the Netherlands are a plus.

  • Experience in a similar role (Head of/ Director of Sales, etc) and strong leadership skills

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of different E.U. markets.

  • Very good German and English Skills, other languages (especially Dutch) are a plus.
