Our customer is a bicycle brand from the USA that is expanding to Europe and at the moment in the process of registering a German branch and opening an office in Munich / München.
We will therefore start the recruitment process and hire various people in different roles.
Certain flexibility regarding hybrid working model is possible, the ideal candidate should be willing to be present in Munich a good amount of time.
Position Overview: The Director Performance & Growth Marketing ebike leads digital advertising and performance marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition and retention, builds and leads an in-house .team, and is responsible for a higher 7-figure budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Responsibility for all performance marketing strategies across key channels, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, and emerging platforms like TikTok.
Full Budget Responsability.
Analyze campaign performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.
Implement SEO and SEM strategies to boost organic and paid traffic.
Manage marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) to create targeted and personalized campaigns.
Design and execute A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to maximize campaign performance and website conversion.
Manage and Oversee budget allocation and ensure campaigns deliver maximum ROI across all channels.
Work closely with the Product Management & Sales Teams to align campaigns with product launches and promotions.
Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business goals.
Build and Lead the Performance Marketing Team.
Qualifications & Skills
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms to track and analyze campaign performance.
Strong understanding of KPIs such as CAC, LTV, ROAS, and conversion rates.
Digital Advertising Expertise:
Hands-on experience with major digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, and emerging channels like TikTok.
Ability to create, optimize, and scale campaigns across these platforms.
SEO & SEM:
Knowledge of search engine optimization techniques and search engine marketing strategies to drive organic and paid traffic.
Marketing Automation:
Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, or similar platforms to create and manage automated marketing campaigns.
A/B Testing & CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization):
Expertise in designing and executing A/B tests to optimize conversion rates across various channels and landing pages.
Budget Management:
Strong skills in managing and allocating budgets effectively to maximize ROI across multiple channels.
E-commerce Knowledge:
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Magento, and an understanding of the customer journey in an online retail environment.
Strong Leadership Skills
Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Good English language skills, German is a plus.
