Country Manager Benelux (m/f/d)

Our client is a large international bicycle manufacturer with its own production, with approx. 500 employees and over 200,000 bicycles produced per year. In addition to 3 own brands (High Performance MTB, Road & Urban), bikes are also produced for other manufacturers (OEM/private label).

To strengthen our own brands and OEM relationships in this region, we are looking for a Country Manager Benelux (m/f/d).


Your responsibilities

  • To establish productive working relationship with the existing customers across all organization levels and functions to drive our image as a strategic supplier with high technical competency and commercial competitiveness

  • To review and modify Customer Strategies based on our Sales Objectives and Strategies and customer opportunities

  • To lead together with the customers execution of Sales activities aimed at target consumer segments and to analyze impact of these activities including costs analyses to get learning for future activities

  • To actively monitor market dynamics, consumer behavior changes, product trends and competitive activities and to forward this knowledge to us

  • To pursue new and profitable business opportunities and to increase customer base within the Benelux by proactive prospection in each country

  • To become Marketing Co-lead for the region by leading adaptation of global marketing plans for the Benelux on our brands for distributors, retailers and end-users

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a senior sales role in the bike industry, preferably involving key account and/or OEM and distributor management

  • Proven track record of business building

  • Ability to collect and analyze market data and recommend actions

  • Good communication skills

  • Dutch native speaker, fluent in English, French is an advantage

  • Readiness to travel frequently within Benelux to visit customers and dealers and to HQ for 2-3 days every month
