Our client is a Swiss manufacturer of bicycles, e-bikes, and speed pedelecs.

They are committed to revolutionizing the bike & speed pedelec market and stand for innovation and sustainable practices in the bicycle industry. The company, consisting of cycling enthusiasts, is looking for a Head of Supply chain (m/f/d). The company is located near Zürich.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant field or similar education

  • Proven experience in procurement in the international bicycle industry

  • In-depth knowledge of Asian markets, network of suppliers is a plus

  • Demonstrated track record in budget planning, scheduling and resource management

  • Experience with logistics and warehouse optimization is a plus

  • Wide knowledge of available distributors, brands and components is a plus

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent English Skills, German is a Plus

  • Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes

  • Lead the charge in sourcing frames and components for our 2 brands

  • Supervise and motivate a team of co-workers

  • Monitor and plan the in-house assembly and adjust schedules as needed

  • Interact between our in-house production facility, the logistics and our product management and development department

  • Occasional travel activities
